It gives me immense pleasure to address you as the Secretary of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, West Bengal Chapter. Our chapter stands as a vibrant and academically active body committed to excellence in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology.
Over the years, we have witnessed remarkable growth in clinical practice, research, and education within our fraternity. It is heartening to see the enthusiasm with which our members contribute to academic discussions, share their expertise, and mentor the next generation of gastroenterologists.
Our chapter is dedicated to fostering a spirit of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. Regular scientific meetings, CMEs, workshops, and webinars have helped us stay updated with the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in the field. We remain committed to providing platforms that encourage knowledge exchange, hands-on training, and fruitful dialogue among specialists and trainees alike.
As we move forward, our focus will be on enhancing academic outreach, encouraging research initiatives, and building stronger connections among members. I invite all members to actively participate, share suggestions, and help to shape the future of our society.
